Mission Statement of CMBC

It is the Mission of The Calvary Midwest Bible College to empower students to become future leaders in the Kingdom of God, by providing them a Biblically sound Post Secondary Christian Theological education.

Vision

To accomplish our Mission by bringing men and women from Columbus and across the world to the knowledge of the Word of God.  All by the attraction and efficacy of the Cross.  We walk by faith and work by the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Objectives

  • To help inspire students to reach their highest potential in God.
  • To help equip students to utilize their God given gifts and abilities as mature spiritually balanced, well informed believers.
  • To help encourage students to become passionate about serving God and man by proclaiming the life changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, through the ministries of teaching, preaching, and writing.
  • To provide a quality Biblically based Christian Theological education that is reasonably economical.

Doctrine: What We Believe

  • Calvary Midwest Bible College and Theological Seminary believes the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and teaches the inerrancy of the Scripture.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was both human and divine and further that the Godhead be understood to mean all of the fullness of God dwells in Him.
  • We believe in the efficacy of the Cross, and the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ as shed on the cross of Calvary.  This blood fully affects us when we repent of our sins and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and are born again of the water and the Spirit.
  • We further believe that Jesus Christ is coming to earth again and that before such time that He will call all of those who live a wholly sanctified life for him.
  • The seminary attempts to provide the coursework necessary to fulfill educational requirements for a number of denominations and as such is open for students of various faiths.
